Drop in your website and a line about your business. I'll come back with an honest breakdown of what's holding it back.

Goes straight to my inbox. I read everything and reply usually within a few hours.

You'll get speed, mobile, where you rank on Google, whether the site is actually turning visitors into enquiries, and an honest opinion on how it looks and feels to land on. Usually back to you the same day.

A real look, not a robot's

I look at your site the way your customer does

Your customer finds you on their phone, gives your site about three seconds, and decides. So that's how I review it, on a phone, against your actual local competitors, asking the one question that matters: would this make someone call you, or click away?

Then I tell you straight where it's winning and where it's losing you work. No jargon, no upsell, no auto-generated score out of 100.

What the audit covers

The five things that decide whether your site brings in work

A website either earns its keep or quietly costs you customers, and most owners never find out which. These are the five things I go through on every audit: the ones that actually decide whether a visitor picks up the phone or clicks back to Google and rings a competitor.

A clock on a wall in soft afternoon light

Speed

How fast your site loads on a phone, and exactly what's dragging it down: heavy images, bloated plugins, slow hosting. Most Irish business sites take 4–6 seconds; people give up after three. And Google quietly ranks slow sites lower, so a sluggish site costs you twice, visitors and rankings.

Google rankings

Where you actually rank for the searches your customers make, and the specific reasons you're not on page one yet. Whether your pages target the right local terms, whether your Google Business Profile is pulling its weight, and what the competitors above you are doing that you're not.

How it looks and feels

An honest opinion on the site as a visitor meets it. Whether it looks like a business worth trusting, whether anything tells them what to do first, and whether the design is doing any of the persuading or leaving your words to do all of it on their own. This is a judgement, not a measurement, and I will tell you plainly what I think.

Mobile & conversion

Most enquiries now come from a phone. I check whether yours actually works on one, or whether tiny buttons, a number you can't tap, or a fiddly form are quietly sending people to ring a competitor instead. The site can look grand and still leak every lead.

And then

The honest verdict

Whether your site is worth fixing, rebuilding, or leaving alone. You get a clear recommendation, ranked by what's actually costing you work, and a straight sense of what each fix would take. If it's grand as it is, I'll tell you that, even though it costs me the job.

How it works

Three steps, no phone tag

01

Send me your website

Pop your URL in the form. Takes ten seconds. No call to book, no form maze, just the address of the site you want me to look at.

02

I review it myself

Not an automated PDF from a tool you've never heard of. I open it on a phone, the way most of your customers will, and I look at it against the businesses you are actually competing with rather than against a checklist.

03

You get a plain-English breakdown

Usually the same day. The real problems, ranked by what's actually costing you customers, in language that makes sense. Yours to keep whether we work together or not.

No obligation · same-day reply

An honest look at your site costs you nothing.

Worst case, you find out your website is fine and you've lost ten minutes. Best case, you find out exactly what's been quietly costing you customers, and what to do about it.

Why it's free

What's the catch?

There isn't one. Most Irish businesses have a website they were sold years ago and never hear a straight word about it again, whether it's fast, whether it ranks, whether it's losing them customers. A free audit is the simplest way for me to show what I actually do, and it's genuinely useful to you either way.

If your site needs work, you'll know exactly what and why, and you can decide in your own time whether you want me to do it. If it's grand as it is, I'll tell you that and you've lost nothing. No pressure, no follow-up sales calls you didn't ask for.

Common questions

Free website audit, common questions

Is the website audit really free?

Yes, genuinely free, no catch. I do it because most Irish businesses have no idea why their site isn't bringing in work, and a clear audit is the easiest way to show what I do. You're under no obligation to hire me afterwards.

What do I actually get?

A written breakdown you can act on, with each problem paired with what I would do about it. Problems are ranked by what they are costing you rather than by how easy they are to fix, so the first thing on the list is the first thing worth your money. If something is already working well, it says so.

Do I have to hire you afterwards?

No. The audit is yours to keep and act on however you like, even if that means taking it to another developer. If your site is basically fine, I'll say so. I'd rather be straight with you than sell you a rebuild you don't need.

How long does the audit take to come back?

Usually the same day, occasionally the next. I read every request myself and come back with a straight answer, not an auto-generated report.

What if I don't have a website yet?

That's fine, say so in the form. I'll take a look at where your competitors stand and what it would take to get you ranking ahead of them across your county.
