I'm Dave Coleman — full stack developer and SEO specialist based in Dublin. I build fast websites for Irish businesses that are engineered to rank on Google and built to get the phone ringing.
I have been building websites for over 20 years — long enough to see the trends come and go, and to know exactly what works for a small business that just wants the phone to ring. I spent years at a US agency working on bigger, more demanding projects, then came back to Dublin to do the same standard of work for Irish businesses, without the agency price tag.
What strikes me about the Irish market is the gap. Most local businesses are being sold websites by people who've never had to make one actually rank and convert. You get a pretty site, maybe a basic SEO setup, and a quiet phone. I have worked across trades, hospitality, clinics and professional services — enough to know the difference between a website that looks the part and one that actually brings in work.
The website is the easy part. The real work is getting the right people to find it and pick up the phone. That's what I actually care about — and what I'll be honest with you about, even when it costs me the sale.
It's also why I started The One — every year I build one Irish charity or community group a proper website, free, nominated by the public. The groups doing the most good shouldn't be stuck with the worst websites. It keeps me honest about why I do this work in the first place.
